This piece is one of three mechanical installations for “The Amazing Machine” exhibit of mechanisms that opened in 2008 at The Franklin Institute Science Museum in Philadelphia. Powered by a motor, the 30-foot-wide, 12-foot-high sculpture undulates in three dimensions like a kelp forest wavering in the currents.
